Golden Age Books is a small business based in the United Kingdom and run by individuals who are Jehovah's Witnesses. It is not exclusive - we are happy to supply anyone - Witnesses and non-Witnesses, although everything available on this site is, in our opinion, suitable and beneficial for the brothers to use.

The aim is to help you 'supply to your faith ... knowledge' (2 Peter 1:5) - by suggesting material which will further your appreciation for the Creator and strengthen your faith. We recommend all to extend their range of study material; this is beneficial both for personal advancement and to quote as secular sources when teaching others.


The enterprise was first started by Tony Byatt in the early 1980s. It grew out of Tony's own love for reading, Bible study and research, which began when he was in his late teens and early twenties. He has gathered a large personal library of Bible-related books over the last 60 years. Many friends would ask for advice about what to buy, so he started looking out for books for them while adding to his own library.

In June 2009 Golden Age Books was taken over by Paul Veysey. Tony Byatt and his family are confident that Paul will be able to move the business on to greater things in promoting the books and documentaries that support everyone in their ministry and Bible study, and in providing a consistent service.
